Manfred de PERCY
Little is known of him except that he lived in Denmark, grew to maturity and became a Danish chieftain, and that Manfred along with his son Galfred joined forces with a son of a Norwegian Viking, Ralph the Ganger, who was trying to lead his followers to a warmer climate. They eventually made their way up the Loire Valley and settled in the Province of Maen in Normandy. Here Manfred adopted the name Percy. Manfred married. |
